About Us

Our founder is a fiber optic design engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the design and testing of high-frequency, low noise PCBs. His background in the design of fiber optic modules for the  datacom and telecom markets has given him extensive experience with baords and modules working at variety of data rates from 10Gb/s to DC.  He is interested in meeting your needs for the design of fiber optic modules or high-frequency PCBs.

 

Key Experience

Our founder has a wealth of experience in the field. He has six years of design experience in fiber optic telecom systems for undersea (proprietary data rate) and terrestrial (SONET OC-48) data transmission at AT&T™ Bell Laboratories. He also spent more than four years in fiber optic datacom design for SFP, Xpak, Xenpak, FDDI, LAN ATM, Fibre Channel, and Gigabit Ethernet communication modules at Siemens™, Gigabit Optics™, and other companies. His primary designs were:

• Clock Recovery and Retiming Modules
• High-Frequency Signal Regenerators
• Special Test Fixtures
• Receiver Pre-Amps
• Hybrid Circuits
• AGC amplifiers
 

Further Experience

He also has more than 15 years of experience in IC, PCB, and hybrid design including the certification and selection of suppliers, testers, and assemblers at various employers. His Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) experience includes a variety of simulation packages including SPICE and TOUCHSTONE. His laboratory and test set design experience includes:

• Generation of Test Software (BASIC, C, C++) for Instrumentation Control and Data Logging
